Universal fiber optic cable FIBERHOME  F-UN-UT.12J-2 is a dielectric cable with a single-tube construction designed for overhead installations on spans up to 60 meters and in teletechnical sewage system. It was reinforced with aramid fibers and two FPR (Fiber Reinforced Polymer) rods with a diameter of 0.6 mm embedded in the outer layer. Single-mode G.652D fibers have been used, which have a reduced “water peak” (Zero Water Peak). The fibers are located in a central tube filled with a hydrophobic gel that protects them from moisture and vibration. The outer shell is made of high-density HDPE polyethylene (black), resistant to chemical agents in the sewage system, UV radiation and low and high temperatures (from – 30 [° C] to 70 [° C]) The outer diameter of the cable is 5.2 mm, and the maximum installation stress is 1 kN.
